Also if you find that you are facing a tough enemy that your biotic abilities seem too weak to affect due to armor/shields, multiple biotic abilities used at the same time will pretty much override that problem. A full health krogan that is normally a rock, will fly through the air like a feather if given enough biotic encouragement.
As far as single ability goes it would have to be Slam. It is powerful, throws a enemy up into the air and then back down, and the best part has a short cooldown so it is easily spam able. Between using slam to breeze through the weak opponents, and then combining powers to take down the hard ones, there is little I can't handle even on veteran (current difficulty), I imagine you just have to be even better on hardcore or insanity.
